Feeling A Little Hair Sentamental This Week

At The Abbey It's All About Family

This all started with me sitting around watching TV and there was a piece on the news about a young girl that had donated her hair and of course living in a home with all women is when the dare came up from my daughters Abbey & Kayla.

Over the past years The Abbey has lost several great customers to Cancer. They all put up heroic fights. After weeks of pondering I got the message, It was time for me to make a donation after growing my hair for the past five years. The day I got my hair cut off I spent the evening at Reid Funeral Home in Leamington saying good by to anther Abbey customer since the 70’s that just lost his battle.

WOW what a journey it has been over the past years. That little girl holding my hair Teagen was not even born yet. Yep I became a Grandpa over those hair years.

Many times over the years I have wanted to give up and get it cut off, but I knew I had to continue.

I would like to thank my wife Wendy for putting up with me plugging the drain in the shower and the sink over the years. To my girls Abbey & Kayla, "Dad Did It", persevere and keep moving forward ladies and good things will come your way. I wonder what the next dare will be?

I would also like to thank Sue at Anjolie in Leamington for keeping the shelves full of Paul Mitchell Hair Products, she has been cutting my hair since the 70’s.

When you make a purchase from The Abbey Collection, you are purchasing from family.

To all of family & friends, love you and thank you for your support.

Off to the next project!

Cheers
David
